Camp Phoenix
https://blazesports.org/youth/campphoenix/
Camp Phoenix gives kids and teens with a physical disability, a chance to learn and participate in a variety of adaptive sports and recreational activities, while building leadership and self-advocacy skills, developing greater independence, and making lifelong friends.
Camper Eligibility
Ages 6 – 18
Have a physical disability such as cerebral palsy, spina bifida, dwarfism, amputation, spinal cord injury, visual impairment, muscular dystrophy or other related physical disabilities.
Meet the criteria for independent self-care*
*BlazeSports can provide partial assistance in personal care for campers; however, all campers must be able to eat, dress, bathe and use the restroom with little or no assistance. If your child needs total assistance in any of these areas, has an intellectual disability, another disorder that is not physical in nature, or does not meet the self-care criteria, we will make suggestions for alternatives.
